About Pastor Jane Walusimbi
Pastor Jane Walusimbi is the lead pastor of Restoration grounds church international who took on the responsibility after the death of her husband, pastor William Walusimbi, she is a professional teacher and served in the government of Uganda for over two decades but asked for early retirement and dedicated her life to serving God and humanity.
With most people living a life of hand-to-mouth, food is an ever present need. Many families opt for a single meal day. Jesus saw the crowds hunger and choose not to send them away. He gave them food. We give food too. The recent pandemic really tested our resilience on food giving, we had 22,000 families in need of food aid.
Restoration Grounds Church International is located in Nateete, near the Nateete Police Station, behind God With Us Plaza in Rubaga Division. Since its founding in 1997 by Pastor William Walusimbi, the church has been dedicated to transforming broken lives with the gospel of love. After Pastor William’s passing in 2014, his wife, Pastor Jane Walusimbi, took over leadership, continuing the vision to this day.
Our journey has not been without challenges. What was once a garbage-filled lot has transformed into a place of worship and restoration. Despite facing issues like flooding, we have witnessed the grace of God sustaining us, guiding us through every obstacle, and elevating us to greater heights.
